The Bluefield Blue Jays defeated the Great Falls Voyagers, 11-4, in American League action at Centene Stadium, with Bluefield pitcher Armando Florez named player of the game. Great Falls is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 10 in a row.

Willie de la Cruz came through for Bluefield with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. The right fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 3 RBI.
