Rangers Shut Out Blue Jays, 3-0
|
The first-place Texas Rangers took on the Toronto Blue Jays in front of a spirited crowd.
Texas picked up a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington, bumping off the Toronto Blue Jays, 3-0. Pitcher Wayne Perry was a major reason the Rangers emerged victorious. Texas now has a record of 47-22 with the win.
Sean Neuroth took Spencer Jones deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Rangers on top, 2-0. In all, Neuroth had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
