An amazing display of power vaulted Michael Krott and the Grand Junction Rockies to victory and into the record books today, as the right fielder hit 4 home runs against the Bristol Pirates.

Krott was an unstoppable force for the Rockies in the 31-2 triumph at Devault Memorial Stadium. In the postgame interview, Krott said he started to feel the pressure before his last home run.

"I could feel the anticipation from the crowd, the look in my teammates' eyes," he said. "I was already thrilled, but as I stepped in the box I said, please God, let me hit one more."

His totals on his history-making day were 4 hits in 7 at-bats with 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
