The home crowd had a good time watching the Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox get after it.
The Chicago White Sox defeated the Houston Astros, 10-1, in American League action at U.S. Cellular Field. Chicago pitcher Felix Bernal had a standout performance. With the win, Chicago raised its record to 48-28.
Bernal allowed 1 run over 8.1 innings. He also racked up 14 strikeouts.
"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Bernal. "And vice-versa."
