Rangers Get Past Toronto for 5-4 Win
|
Butch Kaiser batted in 3 runs to lead Texas to a win over Toronto. The final score was 5-4. Kaiser chipped in with 1 single and 1 home run. Brad Kramer converted his 20th save in 22 tries. With the win, Texas upped its record to 50-27.
The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Kaiser delivered big-time for Texas, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Bobby Wright. The game-changing hit put the Rangers on top, 4-2.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Toronto manager Max Meany said following the tough loss.
