Blue Jays Get 6-3 Win Versus Texas
|
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Texas Rangers by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Danny Burnside. Burnside went 3-4 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times for the Blue Jays on the day. Stacy Hootentootin earned the win for Toronto. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 9. With the win, he raised his record to 8-3. Junpei Yamazaki was credited with the save.
