Speck Delivers Walk-Off Win for Braves
Pat Sutton had a good game, but he could not keep the Pittsburgh Pirates from falling, 4-3, to the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field. The Pittsburgh designated hitter was 3-4 with 3 singles and 2 walks in the loss. The triumph puts Atlanta at 40-40 for the season.

Atlanta won the game in the bottom of the 21st inning. With one out and Curt Campbell on the mound for Pittsburgh, right fielder Jared Speck hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Braves fans to their feet.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Atlanta field general Andres Wray II.
