Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, San Francisco Prevails
					 |

San Francisco Giants won a nail-biting series against the Arizona Diamondbacks 2-1, wrapping up the Wildcard Series finale 3-2 at Chase Field.
Giants center fielder Lucan Esini was named the series MVP.
He batted .500, drove in 3 runs and scored 1 to lead San Francisco into the next round of play.
"Lucan was real solid for us, real solid," said Giants manager Jobo Foster. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
The San Francisco Giants will play against the San Diego Padres in the next round. San Diego had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes..
