San Diego Win to Pull Even With San Francisco
					 |

The San Diego Padres and the San Francisco Giants will take the Division Series to a decisive 5th game. Facing a must-win situation today, the Padres shut out the Giants 4-0 at AT&T Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. San Diego left-hander Matt Wheeler did his part. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball.
The famously hardworking Wheeler handled the Giants all day, notching 3 strikeouts in 6 innings while allowing 2 hits. Wheeler, who led the NL in ERA with 2.02 in 2042, goes to 2-0 on the year with 10 strikeouts.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said San Diego manager Robert Yoka.
Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday at Petco Park in San Diego.
