Indians Fall Short, 4-3, at Baltimore
|
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Baltimore Orioles got the win.
Baltimore beat Cleveland on the strength of starter Randy Johnson Jr.'s fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The last-place Orioles lifted their record to 39-53.
Saimei Kudo made an early impact for Baltimore when he stroked his 12th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with one out in the bottom of the first, put the Orioles on top, 3-0.
Kudo called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
