Lacayo Now 8-5 After Subduing Giants
|
St. Louis Cardinals starter Antonio Lacayo hurled his team past the San Francisco Giants, 7-0. The win puts the Cardinals at 45-54, while the Giants drop to 56-41.
Lacayo earned the win, going 8 strong innings for St. Louis. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 7. San Francisco hitters had little success against him.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Lacayo.
