The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Jerry Foster.

The left fielder for the Amarillo ThunderHeads hit the milestone today against the Victoria Capitals, helping his club to a narrow 15-14 victory. Foster finished with a 5-for-6 line at the plate.

"Foster was a tough out today," Victoria manager Kristian Trompiz told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one."

Jerry Foster hit a solo-shot off Ron Skiles in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Luis Pantoja in the 9th.

For the year Foster has hit at a .418 clip with 19 RBIs, 8 home runs and 31 runs scored.
