The Toronto Blue Jays racked up a win at Progressive Field, bumping off the Cleveland Indians, 7-3. Tony Rios, who started for Toronto, pitched effectively for his team. Rios got the win, improving to 11-3. He allowed 8 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. Rios allowed 3 runs. Toronto now has a 3-game win streak.
Donny Burnside, the former first overall pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Burnside contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Toronto up, 2-0.
