The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the New York Mets, 3-2. Doing his part was third baseman Andy Swaim, who slugged 2 home runs. The second-place Mets have lost 5 consecutive games.
Arizona took the lead in the top of the fifth when Swaim hit a solo home run. His 14th home run of the season made the score 3-2, Arizona.
"We're all smiles after that win," Swaim told the Arizona Daily News.
