Alatas Pitches Nationals to 7-0 Win
|
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Calgary Flames as starter Sentos Alatas shut out the Calgary Flames 7-0 at Palm Beach Ballpark. The Palm Beach pitcher struck out 14 and walked 3 while allowing 5 hits.
"Alatas was good but he wasn't flawless," Calgary manager Johnny Cueto said later. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Palm Beach, but this is on us."
