Brewers Topple Reds, 10-6, as Nishizawa Shines
|
Behind the hitting of Akitada Nishizawa, the Milwaukee Brewers stopped the Cincinnati Reds, 10-6. Nishizawa was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs for the Brewers. The third-place Reds have dropped 5 straight games.
Jamel Wright drove in one run for Milwaukee. The 23-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jeff Urry. It was his 43rd RBI of the season.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Wright told the Milwaukee Observer.
