			Valle Cruises to Shutout
		 |

It wasn't easy but Leon Valle made it look that way.
Valle silenced the Victoria Capitals, 10-0, in a Miami Beach Marlins triumph at Miami Beach Stadium today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Valle said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 4 walks and 4 hits.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
So far this season Valle has a 7-10 record, 30 starts, 120.1 innings, 116 strikeouts and a 6.66 ERA.
