Tijuana Makes It 8 Straight with 2-0 Win
					 |

Tijuana starter Maaik van Duinen pitched effectively against the Portland Angels at Oregon Baseball Complex. The right-hander led his team to a 2-0 win. Tijuana reliever Edgar Marroquin picked up the win, upping his record to 8-3. Jeremy Anderson was saddled with the loss. Allen Downing, credited with the save, is now 3 for 7 in save opportunities.
Juan Hernandez hit a run-scoring triple off Jeremy Anderson in the top of the ninth, which put the Toros in front, 1-0. Hernandez had 1 single and 1 walk, in addition to the three-bagger. For the game, he went 2 for 3.
"We're one win closer to our goal," van Duinen said in postgame remarks.
The 4th-place Angels have dropped 7 straight games.
