Trombley Hits 2 home runs in Phillies Win

The home crowd had a good time watching the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies get after it.
The Philadelphia Phillies downed the San Francisco Giants, 8-4, at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies were led by Ryan Trombley. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Scott Bernstein got credit for the win, improving to 8-4. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 5.2 innings. Ayaz bin Jalal notched his 3rd save in 7 chances.
Lance Franklin, the Philadelphia second baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 4-3, Phillies. For the game, Franklin went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"I felt good up there," said Franklin. "I saw the ball well."
