Marlins Bang Out 8-0 Win Versus Philadelphia (APP)
					 |

Miami (APP) pitcher Yoshiro Tagawa did his part in helping his team beat the Philadelphia (APP) Phillies, 8-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Tagawa, now 12-4, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing no earned runs. The Marlins now have a record of 88-60.
In the bottom of the fourth, Nate Stephenson had a big run-scoring single off Tony Botello. With the single, the Miami (APP) shortstop put his team in front, 1-0. He went 1 for 4 in the contest.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Tagawa told the Miami (APP) News.
