Tigers Need Extra Innings to Top Twins, 5-2
					 |

Detroit Tigers starter Ryan Sobocinski pitched a strong game against the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park, leading the Tigers to victory, 5-2. Joe Bradford, now 3-3, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Detroit is now 46-61. Minnesota is 39-66.
Detroit won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Adam Wood on the mound for Minnesota, shortstop Jim Zucco hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Tigers fans to their feet.
"I'm proud to wear a Detroit jersey," Sobocinski told the Detroit Gazette. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
