						San Francisco Giants pitcher Curt Howland was all business, helping his team muzzle the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-0. The victory gives San Francisco a record of 61-47.
  Howland, who was born in Sunnyvale, California, threw 110 pitches over 8.1 innings, while allowing no runs.
  Howland told a San Francisco Today reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
