						New York Yankees pitcher Sean Hill was in fine form, leading his team past the Texas Rangers, 8-0. Hill, now 7-8, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Jason Greene recorded the save, making him 3 for 3.
  Yao-pang Tien, the 32-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Tien contributed a 2-run  home run in the top of the second inning to put New York up, 2-0.
  "We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Hill said after the game.
  The victory gives New York a record of 62-46.
