						Maina Hits 2 home runs in Reds Win

						The exploits of shortstop Saulo Maina, who is tied for 9th in the NL in total bases with 224, helped the Cincinnati Reds defeat the Kansas City Royals, 6-1. Maina went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a triple. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Gwidon Kaminski earned his 1st save in 1 chances. Cincinnati is now 54-63, while Kansas City is 49-67.
  With Cincinnati leading 3-1 in the top of the ninth, Maina came up to bat against Kansas City pitcher Brandon Ferrari. Maina hit a changeup to right for a 3-run  home run. His 27th home run of the season put the Reds on top, 6-1.
  "You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Maina told the Cincinnati Today.
