Washington center fielder Nate Dickinson had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Cincinnati Reds, 10-8. Keith Pratt notched his 14th save in 15 chances. Washington now sits in last place in the National League East Division at 50-71.

Washington needed the clutch hitting of R.J. O'Brien to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Nationals on top, 7-6. For the game, O'Brien had 2 home runs and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We maximized our offense today," said Washington skipper Mike Shore. "That makes everyone's life easier."
