Reds Suffer 3-2 Loss to Los Angeles
					 |

Los Angeles got a strong outing from Ray Scifo as the Dodgers defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 3-2, at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers improved to 56-73.
The Reds had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Dodgers going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 35-year old right fielder Jonathan Rangel came to the plate. Rangel hit a run-scoring double on a 1-2 changeup from Cincinnati hurler Dave Rivera. It was Rangel's 1st double of the year.
Rangel called the win "a collective effort."
