Giants Improve to 75-59 with 6-2 Win
|
San Francisco pitcher Ted Mosley did his part in helping his team beat the Colorado Rockies, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The victory gives San Francisco a record of 75-59.
Jack Henningar dealt the Rockies a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and San Francisco leading 1-0, Henningar, who led the AL in hits with 208 in 2040, hit a 2-2 changeup for a 2-run double.
Henningar told a San Francisco Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
