The Milwaukee Brewers weathered an outstanding game by Cincinnati third baseman Willie Lazcano to topple the Reds, 7-3. Lazcano went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Milwaukee's record now stands at 67-69, placing them third in the National League Central Division.

Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Bobby Muniz to capture the win. The catcher socked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brewers ahead, 7-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Muniz. "I think we showed that here."
