The Toronto Blue Jays knocked off the Philadelphia Phillies, 11-7, at Citizens Bank Park. David Casas was a big reason Toronto won. The first baseman slugged 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. Toronto reliever David Silva picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Nick Turner was saddled with the loss. Philadelphia has now lost 5 in a row.

Casas had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-2 fastball from Nick Turner, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Blue Jays a 8-7 lead. It was the 28th home run of the year for Casas.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Toronto manager Max Meany.
