The Cleveland Indians powered past the Cincinnati Reds, 9-5, at Progressive Field. Tommy Baird was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. The win has Cleveland at 52-89.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Baird hit a fastball from Jeff Urry for a grand slam home run. The Indians, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We played hard and won," said Baird. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
