						Giants Top Milwaukee, 2-1
					 |

The San Francisco Giants topped the Milwaukee Brewers, 2-1, in National League action at Miller Park. The standout performance belonged to San Francisco pitcher and Chicago, Illinois, native Keith Kidd. With the win, San Francisco raised its record to 82-64.
San Francisco used the clutch hitting of Carey Horncole to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Giants ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
Kidd said his team "played with focus."
