						Yankees Drop Expos, 3-0
					 |

In a low-scoring affair between the New York Yankees and the Montreal Expos, pitcher Jason Greene was the difference between victory and defeat. The New York right-hander earned accolades in the 3-0 Yankees win. The winning pitcher was Greene, now 2-3. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. New York raised its record to 78-69 with the win.
New York used the timely hitting of Bartholomeu Chambino to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Yankees ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said New York manager Vince Deyzel. "It's usually not just one thing."
