Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Royals
The Kansas City Royals bested the Detroit Tigers, 7-6, at Kauffman Stadium. Sam Britt was one of the standouts. He went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Detroit has now lost 9 in a row.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 18th, with Kansas City trailing 6-5, Britt hit a fastball from Melvin Medellin for a 2-run home run, giving the Royals the walk-off win.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Kansas City manager Chris Stephan.
