						Nationals Squelch Braves Offense in Shutout Win

						The Washington Nationals topped the Atlanta Braves, 6-0, in National League action at Nationals Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Washington pitcher Julio Pizano. Pizano got the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 5 hits and walked 4 over 7.1 innings. Pizano allowed no runs. The Nationals  raised their record to 63-90.
  John Sanders, the Washington third baseman, contributed a run-scoring  single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 1-0, Nationals. For the game, Sanders went 1 for 5.
  "We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Sanders.
