The 2046 season began for the Colorado Rockies with a loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Field. The final score was 10-6. Los Angeles right fielder Lirak Bazhunaishvili had a fine performance. Chut-sai Teoh got credit for the save for Los Angeles. It was his 1st of the year.

Nate Taylor drove in one run for Los Angeles. The 27-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Bill Ogren. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Bazhunaishvili said.
