Bautista Excels, But Yankees Win
The New York Yankees had to overcome a big game from Montreal second baseman Hugo Bautista to leave Yankee Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning 11-5. Bautista went 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Bao-qing Bu earned save number 1 this season. The victory makes New York 2-1.

C.J. Richerson dealt the Expos a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and New York leading 4-2, Richerson, who finished 4th in the AL in hits with 194 in 2042, hit a 1-1 fastball for a 2-run triple.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Richerson.
