						Phillies Stumble, Lose to Nationals
					 |

The Washington Nationals got a stellar performance from pitcher Brian Ramirez, who handcuffed the Philadelphia offense en route to a win, 8-1, at Nationals Park. Travis Plesz earned the save, his 1st. The Phillies drop to 5-5 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2046 season.
Seth Cook aided the Washington cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.
"We came out aggressive," said Nationals manager Mike Shore. "We came out swinging the bats."
