The Cincinnati Reds topped the Milwaukee Brewers, 11-4, with first baseman Chris Grunwald playing a big role. Grunwald was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Reds in the win. Milwaukee drops to 6-7.

Cincinnati used a well-timed hit by Dave Barefoot to capture the win. The second baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Reds ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 6 at-bats, it was important.

"This is not a one-man show," said Grunwald. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
