Washington Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
Washington Nationals starter Marquise Barretti pitched a strong game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Nationals Park, leading the Nationals to victory, 5-4. The Dodgers fall to 5-10 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2046 season.
The Nationals procured the win, in large part because of right fielder C.J. Beavers. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"This place was electric at the end," Barretti said.
