Angels Top Orioles to Even Record
|
Alain Delhaye was a major factor in the 7-1 California win over Baltimore. The Angels left fielder went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The win puts California at 9-9.
Delhaye contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for California in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Delhaye took a fastball from Randy Johnson Jr. and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Angels to leap in front, 2-1.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Delhaye told the California Today.
