Getting offensive support from Micah Christopher, the Miami Marlins topped the St. Louis Cardinals, 7-5. Christopher was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Marlins. Julian Bush recorded the save, his 2nd. The loss puts St. Louis at 6-14.

Miami used a well-timed hit by Alex Munoz to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Marlins ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Munoz told the Miami Daily.
