6 Straight Wins for White Sox
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Chicago White Sox and the Texas Rangers, pitcher Felix Bernal was the difference between victory and defeat. The Chicago left-hander earned accolades in the 3-1 White Sox win. The White Sox, now 17-7, have hit the ground running this season.
Chicago took a 3-1 lead on Chris Cooper's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Texas pitcher Wayne Perry in the bottom of the seventh.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Texas manager Juan Smith III.
