Scripp Now 1-4 After Subduing Indians
|
PNC Park hosted a real pitchers' duel.
The Pittsburgh Pirates picked up a win at PNC Park, taking down the Cleveland Indians, 2-0. Starting pitcher Vince Scripp was a big reason why. The Indians fall to 7-18 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2046 season.
Scripp earned the win to move to 1-4. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 6 and walking 1. The right-hander allowed the Indians few scoring opportunities.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Scripp.
