Rangers 1B Kaiser goes 3-for-4 in Win
Texas beat Minnesota at Target Field, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Butch Kaiser. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Texas reliever Kyle Curve got the win, raising his record to 2-0. David Silva was tagged with the loss. The Twins drop to 12-14 and continue their mediocre start to the 2046 season.

Kaiser had a timely hit for Texas in the top of the eighth. With Minnesota trailing 4-2, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 5-4, Texas.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Minnesota manager Patrick Slack said following the tough loss.
