League Suspends Chiefs Dickinson 3 Games Sunday, May 6th , 2046 Nate Dickinson of the Syracuse Chiefs has been reprimanded and given a 3-game suspension for a shouting match with the plate umpire during a recent game at NBT Bank Stadium with the Reno Aces. The Chiefs center fielder said he didn't touch the umpire, but the umpire insisted he did. "I didn't see it, I didn't feel it," Dickinson said. "I was trying everything I could not to make contact with him. The league always sides with umpires. There is no use to appeal." Dickinson is hitting .241 in 2046 with 8 RBIs and 2 home runs. |
