Season-Ending Injury for Young Thursday, July 5th , 2046 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Charlotte Knights: starting pitcher Rick Young is out for the year. Young suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament on 07/02/2046. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. Thus far this season, Young has tossed 59.2 innings in 14 starts, fanned 42 batters, walked 21 and put up a 3.02 ERA with 3 wins and 3 losses. |
