Sosa Tosses 7-0 Shutout for Sacramento Saturday, July 7th , 2046 Sacramento River Cats fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Jorge Sosa blanked the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 7-0 at Raley Field today. Sosa stopped them on 4 hits while walking 2 and striking out 3. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," River Cats skipper Kenneth Wise said. "He was on top of his game in this one." His record this season is 8-3 in 17 starts and Sosa has a 2.48 ERA. |
