Downey's Strong Week Earns AL Trophy Monday, July 16th , 2046 Roman Downey is respected by most Omaha Storm Chasers fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the American League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .417 average (10-for-24) with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Currently Downey is batting .227 with 10 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
