Omaha Right Fielder Picked AL Player of the Week Monday, August 6th , 2046 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Robby Diaz, the Omaha Storm Chasers 22-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for American League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 25 at-bats, compiling a .440 average with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. This year Diaz is batting .283 with 15 home runs. |
