Rust Magic in 6-0 Shutout Monday, August 20th , 2046 In an outstanding mound performance, Buffalo Bisons starter Zack Rust fired a complete-game shutout against the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park today. Rust was the key to the Bisons's 6-0 win. The 24-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 2 hits and 3 walks he allowed. "2 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." This year Rust has 5 wins and 1 loss and a 2.94 ERA. |
